ParticipantHah! I’ve watched that video during the Kickstarter campaign but had totally forgotten that bit. You probably subliminally put it in my brain. Or it’s just the natural human reaction to a two-syllable boot splash screen. 🙂

ParticipantI love that the official solution to multiple GameFrame display issues is “give it a good smack.”
Flake in a pixel? Give it a good smack.
Misaligned mesh? Give it a good smack.
GameFrame seems to be developing sentience? Give it a good smack.Okay that last one may have been my own addition. 😉
The Tim
ParticipantSince these seem to be fairly popular, here are some more.
Tons more sweet gifs that you could downsample yourself using Jeremy’s tool at http://hexeosis.tumblr.com/

ParticipantOkay weird. When I noticed a similar problem on my site’s WordPress admin panel, I realized it wasn’t this site. Turns out my Open Sans font had become corrupted somehow. I deleted and reinstalled it and now things look fine.
Sorry for the confusion!
The Tim
ParticipantAhh, yes I noticed a few of them were definitely more than 250 frames. Makes sense.
The Tim
ParticipantAnother +1
These are so good.
The Tim
ParticipantCool! I tried it out on a few of the crazy hex gifs here. Results posted in the art gallery forum.
The Tim
ParticipantHmm yeah, 1,000 might be tough to hit considering it looks like you got around 600 backers at the various levels of the Game Frame Kickstarter that included the actual product.
Anyway just something to ponder… I probably couldn’t afford one right now, but a year from now… probably?
In the mean time I’ll continue enjoying the Game Frame and making 16×16 art. Next up, more early ’80s arcade games!
