    Hi Jeremy,

I’ve been having issues with my gameframe. I took the SD card out to change out the art files to some custom ones I’ve made. When I plugged the SD card back in it continuously restarted (file attached) I replaced the 00system folder with another backup copy I had and it worked. That was a few weeks back and it’s been running ever since. Today I wanted to change some of the art again but when I replaced the SD card I had the same problem. I replaced the 00system folder with backups I had, tried different SD cards but I’ve not had any luck getting it to start up. I thought perhaps it was a power problem but when you take the card out and it gives the SD error there is no “restarting”

    Thanks,

    Brian

    Thanks Jeremy,

It all worked out. I got the libraries sorted, my inexperience at programming and understanding how to use github were stumbling blocks. Once I found /zipball/master added to the github libraries’ address gave you the zip file it was only minutes till I was up and running again.

I installed the libraries and have am using 1.0.1, I re-ran and installed libraries again, Without success – still getting same error. I got desperate and tried to upload an example file ‘blink.ino’ and it uploaded successfully.

I’m getting an error when trying to upload the clock firmware, it says:
“SdFile’ was not declared in this scope
‘f was not declared in this scope

I’ve got the ‘game’ firmware installed on my unit. I’ve just received the the 5v cable and would like to try the ‘clock’ firmware instead, I’ve searched but couldn’t find a download for the clock. Is there a page that has instructions and downloads for each firmware?

    Thanks

    Hello Jeremy,

I’ve tried to upload the video but was unable to post with that as an attachment, I re-downloaded the script and am getting the same output. Could it have to do with the fact that I checked all the boxes when installing ImageMajick?

    Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for your superfast response. As I suspected, it was human error. I neglected to change the GF settings time from 10s to infinite, then it played the whole folder.

So… Now it’s only playing from folder 0, no other folders were created in the output (see attached) files 1.bmp through 6.bmp were created along with anther config file. Should there be respective folders for each bmp file, am I missing something here?

    Thanks again,

    Greetings Jeremy,

I’ve tried the gfx2gf converter tool you made. I’m having problems with longer files, I tried to cnnvert a 18.6MB, 7 min long video and keep getting a long animation issue, it only previews the first 250 frames. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    PylonSquelch

Thanks for the conversion tool Jeremy! I love the GameFrame and have finally started tinkering with it now that summer is over.
