I’ve not built for the Nano but it’s very close to the Uno and you should be able to get it working. If you’re not comfortable debugging, building your own Game Frame might be a tough project! You could always go with the Teensy LC and the pre-compiled firmware.

It could be any number of things. Do you have experience debugging Arduino code? You’ll Probably need to look for other errors in that console to find out why inifile isn’t working. I assume you correctly installed the library?

The 00system folder contains all of the system level graphics and data.

Hmm…. did you try the firmware on Github or the one linked above? The one above was behind GitHub, so I just changed the link in case anyone else follows it.

In any case, it should be a new mode in addition to gallery, clock, and FX. I.e. hit MENU 4 times and then hit NEXT a few times. The stock/coin is set using the main web backend. Thanks for the heads up about the /help page though. Will fix.

Oh interesting. You want an animation mode that crossfades between each image? Would it rest on the image before starting the fade?

@boris: Don’t know if you saw, but I included a fade-in effect option in the new firmware. Would love to know what you think.

Anything reputable with positive reviews. The main thing is to try a different card.

I would recommend trying a different, name brand microsd card.

I replied to your message in the other thread. I’m afraid the source code is provided without support, but I wish you luck! With enough diligence you can definitely make it work.

I’m afraid the code is provided without support. It’s all there, so with enough diligence you can certainly make it happen! I would not suggest it as a beginner project though.

Great news! Glad to hear it. When you get a chance, please let eBoy know it’s working too.

Extra cloned frames is the fastest way. There’s not room for more features in the Teensy firmware, but I’d be happy to add the feature to the Photon firmware if you have the Wi-Fi Adapter.

You’ve probably flashed the firmware just fine but it can’t talk to the Game Frame because it’s installed backwards on the blue Photon -> Teensy conversion board. It needs to be installed with the USB port next to the word USB like in the product photo.

I’m sure eBoy doesn’t have it installed backwards and working. There must be some confusion. 🙂

Whoa! Your Photon was indeed installed REVERSED! Your board is blue — this means you bought from eBoy, correct? If so, please contact them for a replacement. (I didn’t make their boards — they sourced their own assembly.) I’m sure that will solve your problem. If not, please let me know and I’m happy to help you sort through this further.

Welcome to the forum, Andy. It sounds like you haven’t flashed the Photon yet, is that right? Which step in the setup instructions is causing trouble?
