Way cool. By white, I assume you mean lit, not unlit. Because both are technically white, like a movie screen. Here you go!
If you’re going for scale, the center of each pixel is 1cm away from the center of adjacent ones, and the black lines between them are about .8mm wide. Can’t wait to see this!

Jeremy WilliamsKeymasterCan you post details on the config file format? Can you post a sample?
Yes! This is a great idea. I’ll put this together today.
Jeremy WilliamsKeymasterNice work! I usually prefer black backgrounds because black pixels are “off,” which allows more attention to be drawn to the artwork. It’s a matter of personal preference though. Some sprites just don’t look right on a black background, so I sometimes outline them in a very dark gray.
Jeremy WilliamsKeymasterPhotoshop is perfect, if you’ve got it. But the main thing to know is that graphics must be 24-bit BMP files. There may be a theoretical file size limitation, but it’s nothing you’ll have to worry about at this resolution. I haven’t hit a maximum number of files, either. However, I’ve been making most of my recent animations as film strips, where all of the frames of animation are combined into a single, tall graphic.
Obviously this needs a major FAQ treatment. I’ll write up a sticky post tomorrow. I’m exhausted at the moment.
Jeremy WilliamsKeymasterSorry for the late reply. I didn’t even know anyone knew about this forum yet because I haven’t officially announced it yet. Thanks for beta testing it.
I love your ideas. I’m experimenting with a WiFi SD card right now, actually. It looks promising. Another backer who initially suggested the idea already has a script working that lets him post files to the card. I’ll try to get him to come over here and start a thread about it.
As for the power down idea, that sounds great! At this point though, I need to freeze my code where it is and focus on making it rock solid. My hope is that the community here will take the source and improve upon it. I’m happy to contribute to those discussions frequently, and offer help with the code.
