With the Wi-Fi adapter you can execute any of the exposed functions from the command line. You’d need to have the command line interface installed, which uses node.js.

Yep. I hope to one day improve this but that’s life for the moment. The dimmer the display, the lower the color depth. I spent a long time striking the balance we have, and sometimes it means black instead of bland, blending contrast.

This is now fixed. Grab the new INDEX.HTML file out of the sd file pack and replace it on your microSD card.

You can also go to http://your.gf.ip.address/help to replace the INDEX.HTML file without taking the microSD card out. Let me know how it goes!
Wow you guys find the most interesting problems! Sorry to hear it though. Do me a favor and try updating the firmware. I made some changes recently to the IR detection and clock set routine.

Nice catch! I’ve reported this to the javascript wizard that wrote the code. I’ll update this thread with a fix soon. As far as I can see the “Create Folder” button should be unhidden when the Upload Folder button is clicked. Hm…
Wow, what?! Can you show me a video of this? Can you test clock and gallery modes? Can you send me an email with your order number (jeremy at this domain)? We’ll get it sorted out.
That either sounds like the firmware wasn’t properly flashed or the adapter isn’t properly inserted (pins offset). Have you tried flashing again and verifying placement/orientation?
EDIT: To be clear, when the flashing takes place the LED on the Photon should flicker magenta for a couple seconds.
For most people the easiest way to send the commands above is using the SMS recipe. Just get that connected and then send a text message to Game Frame like, “clockface 3”. Super simple.
