SD card error, minutes after setting the clock

a few minutes after setting the clock I get an ‘SD error’, If I turn it off, and back on, its fine, but then I set the time, and within minutes I get the same error. I am thinking I may just format the SD Card, but I need a way to download the content of the card before formatting, and dont want to copy the data over from the card to PC in case the corruption follows over.
