    Hello there,
first i tinkered a little bit with WS2812 and ended up printing a frame and trying to build my own GameFrame.
Actually i use a “nameless” Wifi-ESP-Wroom-32 and build my own code.

Can i just swap over to the Wifi Code for a Photon? Or do i have to insert a Photon?
And can i copy the wiring according to the Teensy-PinOut, or is there something special about your Wifi-Adapter?

    Any help appreciated

    Regard
    Patrick

There’s definitely particle specific code in the WiFi source. I would just start with the V2 source and build up from there for your other chip.

    Hey,
Thanks for the answer. I’ll try to get it running with my controller.
I assume I will end up using a particle. 😅
What about the WiFi adapter? Does it just change the pinout for the components from teensy to particle?

The adapter just routes the pins to Teensy pinout. There is no special sauce.
