thought about developing an android app that you would be able to put on any android tablet,

that will read animations straight from a memory card ,
or from internal app memory, and play them the same as the game frame,

meaning i’ll just top the frames with black grid,

and assuming that the animations are the same size, and are all 8 bit, hopefully it will work …
    what do you think ?

could work ? bad idea ?

You could definitely make one, could be a good way for people to preview the animations too.
I’d be willing to lend a hand if i can.

Not Java but done plenty of C#, little bit rusty though. More than willing to help. I set up a Slack…erm… thing for collaborating with people on the GameFrame.

well i think best thing is if jermy would want to be involved,
or somehow gave hies thoughts on the matter.
i think first thing to do is to build a simple STD, as to what we expact of the app to do and how to act, then think on how to implement everything,

let’s give jermy a few days if he will answer or what more,
then worst thing is i’ll do a simple std, and you will say what you think about it, give your ideas…

I don’t know who Jermy is but I hope he weighs in. 😉 I have too much on my plate to jump on this project right now but I wish you the best!
